New Issue of the NIJ Journal - now available online!

The National Institute of Justice has released its latest edition of the NIJ Journal.
This issue features multiple articles concerning DNA, including a study on untested sexual assault kits in Los Angeles and interim data about state arrestee DNA collection laws and what lawmakers should consider when contemplating expanding DNA collection.
This issue also features an article outlining issues regarding the use of criminal records in making hiring decisions and a look at the Defending Childhood Initiative that was launched by U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder in 2010.

As the population ages, edentulism is on the rise. As a result, osseointegrated implant-supported denture prostheses are growing in popularity. The case presented demonstrates a stable and esthetic implant procedure for full-mouth rehabilitation, using denture teeth fabricated with CAD/CAM technology.

Films On Demand is pleased to announce an exciting new enhancement--new interactive transcripts for thousands of videos. 
 
With interactive transcripts, users can:
  • view the full text of the video and follow along as the video plays
  • print the transcript
  • click on any word in the transcript to jump to that exact point in the video and begin playing the selection
  • search each transcript to locate every instance of a specific term in a video.
Interactive transcripts are easy to access.  If a title has a transcript available, a "Transcript" tab will display on the View Video page.  From this tab, users can search, print, or disable the autoscrolling feature.  For further instructions, please refer to this PDF, also found in the Help Center.  Plus, new transcripts are added each month!
